Description
Five Nights at Sonic's 3 is the third game of the FNaS series. Due to the popularity of the first two games, TheCyVap chose to make another sequel. Unlike FNaF 3, FNaS 3 has more than one constant threat and gameplay elements that make it differ from FNaF 3 to give it a unique gameplay loop, such as limited power and characters you need to avoid using a mask like FNaF 2.
This is the first game in the series to feature the time going from 12AM to 8AM instead of 6AM.
This is also the first game in the series to feature an endless Survival Mode. This is a very primitive version of the endless nights seen in later games however.

Story
Following the events of FNaS 2, the clones and animatronics were put in a storage facility. The clones (with the exception of Golden Sonic) were healed using cloning material.
10 years pass between the events of FNaS 2 and FNaS 3 with the game's events taking place in 2027. The clones are living happily in the storage unit while the animatronics are deactivated. Eventually, there are plans made to create a new Sonic's Hero Pizza Palace location. Dr. Eggman catches wind of this information, and decides to deal with the clones as he now sees them as a threat to his safety.
In each of the minigames that plays between nights, Eggman kills of the clones of Mario, Yoshi, and Tails. Clone Sonic is found in the back room in the fourth minigame with heavily damaged versions of Toy Sonic, Toy Mario and Toy Yoshi (Taingle, Balloon Toad and Luiginette seem to be missing). Clone Sonic is attacked by Toy Sonic, causing the severe injuries he has in FNaS 3 as Salvage Sonic. In the final minigame, Eggman commands Salvage Sonic to protect him from the spirits of the other clones, but Sonic turns on him, stabbing him in the chest. Finally, in the last minigame, Dr. Eggman's spirit possesses Golden Sonic.
Within the minigames, the player has the option to step on wires within one of the hallways. If the player steps on them at every opportunity, this will lead to the true ending of the game instead of the non-canon bad ending.

In the main game, you play as the real Sonic the Hedgehog, and are guided through the week by Silver the Hedgehog. Sonic intends to investigate what's going on with his brand behind the scenes and survives six nights against Salvage Sonic, the withered toys, and the phantoms.
On Night 6, at 7AM, Golden Sonic will kill the player if they did not step on the wires in all of the minigames, leading to the bad ending, which is not canon. However, if they player DID step on all of the wires, a fire will start, leading to the good ending cutscene. Once the time reaches 8AM, Sonic escapes the burning building, leading to the true ending.
Trivia
  • FNaS 3 features a Shadow Sonic Easter Egg in Camera 12. Just like FNaS 2's Shadow Sonic Easter Egg, he is here to pick up '27 Golden Sonic.
  • Despite the implications of the designs, there are two different types of phantoms. Phantom Mario, Phantom Yoshi and Phantom Tails are all spirits, while Phantom Taingle, Phantom Balloon Toad and Phantom Luiginette are all hallucinations.
  • There is a glitch where certain characters can still kill you during the true ending cutscene.
  • There is a glitch where the timer in Survival Mode will randomly pause for an unknown reason. This makes it nearly impossible to get the stars tied to Survival Mode.
